I have tried 5 times to write this post and every time I get started someone needs to be nursed, changed, wiped, bathed, you name it and it's happening here at the Gragg House (and I sit here and have erased many typed letters by Miss Lainey :))! I guess that is the beauty of parenting! There have been times when I have been ready to hang it up, throw in the towel, go away for the weekend and then I simply look at these precious little gifts from God and I stand in amazement! I am so thankful for both my children and all I can say is "thank you to our Maker, praise Jesus for their health, well being, and the joy they bring to me each and every day. This week at church we begin a small group study on parenting and boy am I looking forward to it. What does the Bible say about parenting? How can I become a better parent? What is our marriage saying to our kids? These questions and so many more will be answered over the next 6 weeks. Parenting is not easy, no body ever said it was, but the rewards last a lifetime.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
