Happy Birthday MawMaw's

This past Saturday we celebrated MawMaws 76th Birthday. She was so excited to have a meal with the family. Michael prepared every steak, potato, salad and a delicious Desert. He is becoming very handy around the house I must say. After working a long day Saturday at the shop, I came home and the house was clean, dinner was in the oven and the kids were very content. He kept both kids all day (with the help of his mother and sister) but he is just wonderful. All of Michael's family came to the cookout, and luckily they were there. After we had finished eating, Trathan wanted to show everyone what a big boy he was. He climbed up the treehouse and sure has the world jumped straight off the back edge. At this point I kinda panicked but my sister-in-law Carolynn took over. She has been an EMT for a few years now and knew just what to do. She guided him through the pointing an flexing.


We got some ice and by morning he was fine. He has figured out how to really soak it up when he is hurt. The rest of the night he sat very still beside PopPop and held his ice on his foot. There was no swelling the next day and we were able to go to church. All to say Happy Birthday MawMaw's You are very loved!!
